Bearded Fishermen Charity
We are a mental health awareness and suicide prevention charity. We help anyone who has mental health issues and suicidal thoughts to be stronger through support. We have a team who provide crisis intervention for vulnerable people. We help families struggling with food poverty and give general support.
Our work in suicide prevention
Bearded Fishermen Charity helps people, families, and communities break the cycle of mental health and suicidal thoughts by being there and supporting people of all ages to achieve the best outcome for them. Working with different agencies and groups to help support people during the current mental health crisis.
We have a 24/7 call centre with a freephone number. We provide support and counselling for people suffering with poor mental health and support for their families. We run a nightwatch project which looks out for vulnerable people at known locations, and assist in searches. We have police and medical partnerships for when we need them.
