“NSPA” means National Suicide Prevention Alliance, a cross-sector, England wide coalition of organisations committed to reducing the number of suicides in England and improving the support available for those bereaved or affected by suicide.
“Samaritans” means registered charity number 219432 and a company limited by guarantee no. 757372 having its registered office at The Upper Mill, Kingston Road, Ewell, Surrey, KT17 2AF, and host of the NSPA Secretariat;
“the Website” means any website under the ownership or control of NSPA from which a link has been created to these terms and conditions;
“the Material” means all of the information, data, text, graphics, links or computer code published on, contained or available on the Website;
2. Applicable terms and conditions
The Website is owned by NSPA and any use made of this site (including registrations made via the Website), are subject to these terms and conditions.
NSPA may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice to any User, modify or revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating the text of this page. Your continued use of the Website after amendments are made means you accept the terms and conditions as updated. Therefore, please visit this page regularly to review the terms and conditions.
3. Use of the Website
By using or accessing the Website, all Users agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, do not use this Website.
Anyone is entitled to view any non-password protected parts of the Website and to use for their own purposes the information contained therein, provided:

4.1 The intellectual property rights in the Material are owned by NSPA, its Members, or its additional content suppliers. 4.2 The names and logos of NSPA and all related product and service names, designs marks and slogans are the trade names, service marks or trademarks of NSPA or its Members and may not be used without the prior consent of NSPA.

The website is intended to provide general information only. So far as permissible by law, NSPA and Samaritans do not accept any liability to any person relating to the use of any such information.

NSPA is an England-wide coalition of organisations, and the Website is intended for use by UK residents only in relation to their activities within the UK. In no event shall NSPA or Samaritans be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Website may contain links to websites operated by parties other than NSPA. Such links are provided for the User’s convenience only. NSPA does not control such websites, and is not responsible for their content. NSPA’s inclusion of links to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators. Neither NSPA nor Samaritans accept any responsibility in relation to such websites’ content or the way a User interacts with it.

11. Viruses
Whilst NSPA makes all reasonable attempts to exclude viruses and other potentially dangerous software from the website it cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability is accepted by NSPA or Samaritans for damage caused through the downloading of viruses and other potentially dangerous software. Therefore, you are recommended to take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information from the Website.
12. General
12.1 If any provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
12.2 These terms and conditions (as they may be amended from time to time pursuant to clause 2) constitute the entire agreement between NSPA and the User and supercede all other (prior or contemporaneous) communications and proposals, whether electronic or written, between the User and NSPA.
12.3 Any failure of NSPA to exercise or enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights or operate so as to bar the subsequent exercise or enforcement or any such rights.
13. Jurisdiction
The terms and conditions and the use by the User of the Website shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to the Website or these terms and conditions.
