CLASP Charity (Counselling Life Advice Suicide Prevention) help to empower, inspire and motivate people with mental health disabilities, ensuring businesses and organisations adhere their statutory legal duty to provide ‘Reasonable Adjustments’.
Our work in suicide prevention
CLASP Charity is focused on providing a unique helpline service with the Medical Advisory Service and NHS 111 service. We also increase Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention with our ‘Walking Out Of Darkness’ platform.
Our current priorities
Our CLASP Helpline Service on the NHS 111 service together with the Medical Advisory Service offers medical and practical assistance for individuals, families, friends, work colleagues and many others in crisis. The helpline offers medical triage and practical assistance and support. The helpline has the backing of the Department of Health, NHS, local Councils, Police, Charities and many other services.

CLASP Charity also stages ‘Walking Out Of Darkness’ events across the country offering a ‘Platform’ for the public, local and national services and organisations as well as charities to offer assistance, support whilst engaging and working together to end the stigma surround mental illness and suicide.
