Our work in suicide prevention

Public Health Lincolnshire is leading the strategic Suicide Prevention Group in Lincolnshire. We are responsible for facilitating the partnership approach of the Suicide Prevention Group.

Our current priorities

We are currently establishing a number of Task and Finish implementation groups in key areas, including awareness, prevention, data research, and monitoring.

We will also work closely with the Mental Health Crisis Concordat Board to develop better crisis support.

Our current challenges

In order to achieve the deemed outcome of helping reduce suicide in Lincolnshire we need to achieve the following:

1.  Clarity of pathways.
2. Development of Suicide Prevention awareness messages.
3. Learning from data, research and monitoring. To do this we will need to establish an evaluation method.
