The Brunswick Centre
The Brunswick Centre is a voluntary organisation working with local communities, our services include a HIV Service which gives support to people living with HIV and HIV Prevention work and a LGBT Youth Service. We care about suicide prevention and work at strategic level in partnership with other agencies and organisations, and at a community level with local community groups.
How does your organisation contribute to preventing suicide and supporting those affected by it?
We attend strategic partnership meetings and action accordingly and promote suicide prevention and mental health information on a regular basis with the communities we serve.
We offer counselling sessions to the specific communities we work with.
We have secured joint funding with a local community group to promote mental health and suicide prevention within LGBT communities.
What are your current priorities?
