The Craig Tyler Trust
We have been an established mental health and suicide prevention charity in the Basildon borough since November 2020, before which we provided mental health support through a drop-in centre since July 2018. Our organisation was created to help those struggling with their mental health and suicidal ideation and to provide a safe space to meet with compassionate volunteers and others in similar situations.

Our work in suicide prevention
Craig Tyler Trust have an open door policy which is self referral. Our mobile unit delivers suicide prevention services and we recently attended the PABBS suicide bereavement training. We are currently supporting a small number of families bereaved by suicide.

Our current priorities
Reducing suicide deaths and increasing mental health support.

Our current challenges
Isolation has had a massive impact on everyone so we are holding as many group sessions as possible. Funding has been an issue because of covid-19 but we are slowing getting back to events to be able to fundraise.
