The Jordan Legacy
The Jordan Legacy was set up in April 2020, in memory of Jordan Phillip, who took his own life in December of 2019. The aims of the Legacy are to reduce the frequency of suicides and improve mental wellbeing at work and in society.

Our work in suicide prevention
We are a newly formed organisation, whose aims are to help prevent suicide and support those bereaved by suicide, through a range of initiatives, which include but are not restricted to: signposting, provision of expert resources, workplace health assessments and wellbeing strategy implementation, lobbying, coaching, therapy consultations, through approved partnership formations.

Our current priorities
Presently, we are developing the website and mapping out our strategy for 2020 and beyond. Immediate focus is on providing resources and support for people struggling with their own mental health or the mental wellbeing of people known to them, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our current challenges
A lack of knowledge in terms of how to best signpost people to primary and secondary care provisions in regional areas. Being new, we are also finding our feet and would appreciate peer support.
