People with mental health problems often face worse financial outcomes than those without such conditions. While ethnicity does not determine someone’s experiences with money and mental health, challenges for minoritised ethnic groups can be unique.

This briefing from the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute highlights key examples of these challenges. It also shows how they can worsen the harmful link between mental health and financial wellbeing.
