How to support neurodivergent children and young people at risk of suicide or self harm

This briefing paper was prepared for front line professionals by the Kent and Medway Suicide Prevention Team. It draws on evidence produced by a Positive Practice Audit where 18 professionals reviewed cases they have been involved in where neuro-divergent children and young people had been supported to reduce their self-harming and suicidal behaviour. Learning from when things go well can be just as valuable as when things go wrong.
