Insights from experience: Alcohol and suicide

In late 2021, the Suicide Prevention Consortium conducted a survey on alcohol use, suicide, and self-harm. Based on responses from 125 individuals with lived experience and 33 practitioners, the Consortium has published a policy briefing and a two-page “snapshot” summarising key findings and recommendations.

The briefing highlights four key findings and related recommendations, contributing valuable insights to the existing evidence base in this area.
