The Charlie Waller Trust – Clare Stafford

Clare has over 25 years’ experience of managing and developing NHS mental health services and was a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department of Health.

Clare joined the Charlie Waller Trust as CEO in 2014 and has overseen a significant expansion of the Trusts’ work since then, most recently in developing support for parents and carers.

Clare is Vice-Chair of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition, a 260 strong membership body who combine their voice to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Clare has held various non-executive roles during her career, most recently as Chair of governors for Cranbury College, an alternative provision school in Reading.
