New online discussions, July 2021

Following the success of our online discussions in 2020, we are holding regular discussions throughout 2021 and have now set dates for July.

These are spaces for people working in suicide prevention to share challenges, concerns and ideas, and provide support to each other, particularly around the response to Covid-19 and the impact it has had and will continue to have on services, service users, staff and organisations.

We will have two discussions in July, one for people working with children and young people, and another for people working in suicide prevention or bereavement support who is keen to reflect on the lessons learnt from the pandemic and the service changes you’ll be keeping in place post-covid. Please email the NSPA team on events@nspa.org.uk to register to attend.

July

Children and young people – Wednesday 21st July, 2pm – 3pm

The future post-Covid – What have we learned? What will we keep? – Thursday 22nd July, 10am – 11am

Anyone working in suicide prevention is welcome, though we will try to keep numbers to around 25, to enable a real conversation.

We will also be asking these groups for other subjects or populations they would value discussing, so please do let us know by emailing events@nspa.org.uk if you have suggestions and we will do our best to add those in over the coming months.
